Attorney Derri Lassiter Young is the founder of The Lassiter Law Firm, P.A. Prior to starting The Lassiter Law Firm, she gained extensive experience while working with Gary, Williams, Lewis and Watson, P.L. in Stuart, Florida and Mcconaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope and Weaver, P.A. in Jacksonville, Florida.
Derri Lassiter Young graduated suma cum laude from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina with a B.S. Degree in Political Science and a Minor in English in 1997. Young graduated with honors from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida with her Juris Doctorate Degree in 2001. In 1999 Derri Lassiter Young studied law abroad at the University of Nantes in Nantes, France. Young is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys teaching Zumba and Aerobic classes in her local community.
